Welcome to your new exercise library!
This exercise library is broken up into several sections. Here are some tips on how to navigate. Sorry this is a little rough aesthetically, been spending most of the time on the videos themselves!
Firstly, watch and practice all of the Execution Essentials. Those are the most important things to understand before attempting any of the exercises here.
Once you have mastered those, there are three versions of exercises here.
Isometrics
Band/Bodyweight
Cable
If you are just beginning, or have no equipment at all, you will want to start with the Isometric versions of all exercises to get familiar with the feeling of contraction and find what motions are more troublesome than others.
isometrics are super valuable for any- and everyone, but if you aren’t familiar with an isometric, it can be tricky, and a few crucial items can transform their effectiveness. Get more info on how to master isometrics in the Isometric Wisdom Section.
If you are a somewhat experienced exerciser and order/already have some bands (we can advise, check the Band Resources section), you can probably move on to the Band/Bodyweight exercise library.
These exercises require a bit more setup, so pay close attention to the instruction in the video.
Check out Band Wisdom for more guidance.
If you are lucky enough to own a cable unit, or have one available to you, the cable exercise section will be of most value to you.
If your cable unit uses weights for resistance, as opposed to the unit we use in the video which uses pneumatic (air pressure) resistance, the tempo at which you try to operate will become even more important.
Be aware especially of controlling and monitoring the changes in direction. More on that in the Cable Wisdom section.
