Band Hip Activity Prep: No matter what activity you are preparing for, this band warmup is quite likely to get your hips prepared for it.


Hip Motions


Band Hip Adduction - Primary muscles trained - adductor longus, adductor magnus, pectineus, gracilis, adductor brevis, psoas major, iliacus

Band Hip External Rotation - Primary muscles trained - piriformis, obturator externus, obturator internus, superior gemellus, inferior gemellus, quadratus femoris, gluteus maximus, adductor magnus

Band Hip Flexion - Primary muscles trained: psoas major, iliacus, rectus femoris, tensor fascia latae (TFL), pectineus, sartorius

Band Hip Abduction - Primary muscles trained: gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, gluteus maximus, tensor fascia latae (TFL)

Primary Muscles Trained: gluteus maximus, semitendinosus, semimembranosus, biceps femoris long head, adductor magnus
